If you have got a problem with our software, we are happy to offer free technical help to you.

First off, we do ask you to check out our script "frequently asked questions", which most likely will be able to solve your problem right away. Should you not find the answer to your problem there, we offer two options for you:

  1. Handle the problem in private email. The entire communication will be held private.
  2. Handle the problem in public forum (SimPilot Forum), if you feel the problem concerns fellow users too, or you feel public should become aware of your specific problem. If you are a Compuserve Member, you can post your message/inquiry directly onto SimPilot forum section 7. If you are not a Compuserve Member, email your message to simpilot@nomissoft.com. Every message (that does not contain profanities, obscenities or personal attacks) arriving on this email account will be mirrored to the forum.

 

In both cases enclose the following supporting files to speed up analysis of your problem, please.

  1. Exact description of your problem (what do you enter, what do you expect, what happens, error messages, lockups etc.)
  2. C:\CONFIG.SYS
  3. C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
  4. CONFIG.ATP
  5. MEM.LST (which you produce at the DOS prompt by typing end executing "MEM /D >MEM.LST")

If you are running AS2 under Windows 95 or Windows 98, then provide the files from your DOS-Box (Click on Start, MS-DOS prompt).

We usually do respond within 24 hours (more often even faster), but may need some more time occasionally.
